Transactional Finance Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to join a reknowned and fast-growing retail organisation based in Bolton. Leading the Accounts Payable, Accounts Recievable and Cash functions, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of all aspects of transactional finance processing within the organisation.
The Role and Responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Manager position will include:
- Take ownership of all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash functions.
- Managing, motivating and developing the Transactional Finance Team, encouraging a high performing, collaborative culture.
- Review current processes and drive continuous improvement. Work with teams across the business to implement new processes or systems.
- Ensure invoices, expenses and payments are raised or processed accurately, paid on time and matched to banks and ledgers.
- Be the go-to person for transactional finance queries within the business and with suppliers/customers, ensuring accurate details and reconciliations take place. Ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
- Oversee the smooth running of the payment run, and reconciliation of ledgers.
- Oversee the aged debtor book ensuring that accounts are kept up to date. Drive timely cash collection and escalate issues where required.
- Manage and adhere to the month-end deadlines, ensuring all tasks across transactional finance are completed ontime and any issues are flagged and escalated to the FC and CFO.
- Develop and report on KPIs.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting queries from stakeholders.
The successful individual will;
- Have previous experience in a Transactional Finance Manager role
- Have strong excel and systems skills
- Be used to working in a high volume transactional processing environment
- Be comfortable communicating with stakeholders
