Finance Executive
My client, a B2B Events company based in Putney, is seeking to hire a full-time and permanent Finance Executive to join their fast paced and growing team. This role will initially focus on the Accounts Receivable side of finance, with a long-term plan to getting exposure across the entire finance function including month end, management accounts, audit, and more. This role is a hybrid role, with 2-days per week in the office and 3-days working from home. e
My client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Finance Executive to join our finance team. As a Finance Executive, you will initially focus on the accounts receivable side of finance but will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of finance such as month-end closing, management accounts, audit, and more. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about finance and wants to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable
- Proactively follow up with customers to resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
- Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and analysis
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in accounts receivable and finance
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
