Billing Clerk

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Billing clerk to join a reputable global marketing business on a permanent basis. The role will offer exposure to a large scale finance department within a business going through a period of high growth.

As the Billing Clerk, you will report into the Billing manager and will support to help identify the causes of any invoice queries (supplier and client side) and finding efficient solutions for resolving. You will also support the business to reduce unbilled and aged debt, helping the channel and client teams to ensure accurate bookings are sent to bill promptly.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Supporting the Manager on clients billing approvals & checking that system matches PO tracker – ensuring that all bookings on the system remain under the PO approved amount
• Working with the Digital Booking teams to ensure that they have reconciled the digital media at the beginning of the month ready for the digital billing deadline
• Supporting teams to ensure bookings do not go onto the system late / inaccurately
• Supporting manager to ensure the team/s making bookings resolving any queries ahead of billing deadlines
• Support manager to ensure invoices go out to clients by the monthly deadline/s
• Be the first point of contact for queries for any bookings and identify next steps for seeking a resolution
• Support with the query management process for Suppliers & Client invoices, gather relevant data to identifying the cause of it & devising a plan for resolution
• Work collaboratively with other team members & assisting where necessary to ensure timely resolution of queries

To be considered for this role you should have/be:

• IT & general systems literate - MS Excel
• A knowledge of Mediaocean / booking systems would be beneficial
• Experience in data input / finance would be a benefit
