Role: Management Accountant
Type: Permanent
Salary: Between £32,000 and £35,000 per annum
Qualifications: Studying ACCA or CIMA
Location: Birmingham or Wednesbury with work from home flexibility
Duties of the Management Accountant:
• Provide support to the Finance Manager with day to day workload and project work
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including all balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, reconciliation of credit card accounts, and reviewing financial reports and any other ad hoc duties
• Support the Finance Manager with budgets and forecasts
• Provide assistance in preparation of the year-end audit and producing the annual accounts
• Maintain a month-end control checklist to bring visibility and ownership of the balance sheet
• Working closely with the parent company to support AP, AR and treasury matters
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous development of processes and information to meet changing customer needs
• Assist the Finance Manager with all purchase requisition approvals and any other ad hoc projects
Requirements of the Management Accountant:
• Advanced Excel
• ACCA or CIMA studier
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
