Walters People have partnered with a leading business based in Birmingham who are looking for Assistant Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The role would best suit a confident individual who can work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative.
Key Responsibilities as the Assistant Finance Manager:
- Assisting with the production of management accounts
- Monthly reporting
- Weekly reporting
- Assisting with cashflow
- Credit control assistance as a contact point, Sending Statements, Dealing with queries.
- Check FX rates
- Accounts Receivable Tasks
- Accounts Payable Tasks
- To produce company VAT Returns
- Process Development
- To support the team in all aspects of finance
- Ad Hoc transactional finance
About you as the Assistant Finance Manager:
- Good communication skills by phone, email, and face to face
- Good IT skills
- Completed AAT or early level CIMA/ACCA useful
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Add Hoc transactional finance work
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Office and experience of would be helpful.
