Management Accountant

High growth IT business based in Old Trafford - Manchester are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your role as the Management Accountant would be to support the leadership team with key month-end reporting, planning and analysis of financial information which will be vital for continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• VAT returns, FCA returns and government statics returns

• Preparation monthly management accounts, profit & loss account and balance sheet statutory accounts preparation

• Accruals and prepayments

• Preparation of yearend statutory accounts

• Cash flow forecast and projection

• Budgeting and variance analysis

• Preparation of MI (management information)

• Analysis of sales figures and forecasting

• Preparation of one-year cost projections monthly basis

• Processing supplier payments, staff expenses, foreign supplier payments by BACS, and fast payments

• Direct debit collection and credit control

• Identification of business risks and opportunities

• Bank reconciliation, supplier statement reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Advising management about internal control system, business risk, financial risk and process improvement

• Asist with R&D allowance calculation, capitalise research and development cost and amortisation

• Ad hoc tasks

• Accounting system - Microsoft Dynamics Navision

• Advanced Excel - Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Macro, IF, SUMIF etc.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Accounting system - Microsoft Dynamics Navision
• Advanced Excel - Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Macro, IF, SUMIF etc.
• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• Prior management accounts experience is essential
• Experience producing key management information
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously but possess strong team skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
