A brand new role has become available for a Financial Accountant to work for a global Media business based in the heart of London on a 12 month fixed term contract
The Financial Accountant plays a key role within the central team responsible for the general accounting and reporting compliance of all the UK entities.
This multi-faceted role is pivotal to ensuring monthly, quarterly and yearly results are consolidated, analysed and reported to the EMEA and Group finance teams timely and accurately.
What you’ll be doing:
- Monthly reporting.
- Perform checks on balance sheet submissions of UK entities.
- Budgeting/re-forecasting.
- Support in consolidation and report all UK brand/entity submissions.
- Prepare commentary for inclusion in the monthly report submitted to EMEA Finance.
- Statutory compliance – assist in the preparation of the largest and highest-profile UK trading entity’s accounts. Support with external and internal audits as required.
