Walters People have partnered with a leading business based in Warwick who are looking for a Business Controller on a permanent basis. The role would best suit a confident individual who can work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative.

Walters People have partnered with a leading business based in Warwick who are looking for a Business Controller on a permanent basis. The role would best suit a confident individual who can work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative.

Key Responsibilities as the Business Controller:

• Analyse financial information relevant for Business Area

• Reserve modelling and analysis including quarterly review meetings

• Month-end closing and trending

• Forward planning

• Commercial activities (e.g. penetration, spread, Proforma)

• Fee income

• Expenses

• Commercial Market Reporting

• Follow-up of action-lists on business-critical KPIs

• Assist in business planning, budgeting and forecasting

• Cashflow and Funding management

• Provide high quality financial information

• Assist with special projects as required

• Constantly drive efficiency improvement for all controlling/reporting-related processes

• Support business functions in delivering controlling advice as needed

About you as the Business Controller:

• Excellent knowledge of controlling/reporting-relevant procedures and tools

• Relevant experience in financial reporting or business control, preferably within the financial services sector

• Practical experience of working in an international environment

• Qualified or Working towards a Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA

• Exceptional qualified by experience will also be considered
