I’m currently working with a leading business in Lichfield in their recruitment of an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. The role will be paid up to £22k based on experience with high potential of progression.
I’m currently working with a leading business in Lichfield in their recruitment of an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. The role will be paid up to £22k based on experience with high potential of progression.
Main responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk will be:
•Preparing and entering supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding is captured.
•Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution by telephone, letter, fax or email.
•Making payments to suppliers and other payments as they occur by due date.
•Maintenance of the aged creditor reports
•Maintenance of the unapproved aging report, escalating overdue items where applicable
Key Experience as the Accounts Payable Clerk:
•Previous end-to-end experience working in Accounts Payable
•Strong knowledge of all Microsoft office packages; Outlook, Word and Excel
•Good interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service
•Excellent attention to detail
•Strong team player
