Purchase Ledger Clerk

Walters People are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to fulfil a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, supporting a client of ours through a new system implementation.
Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk would include, but not be limited to:
- Invoice processing – circa 50 per day
- Statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing payment runs
- Create and post journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
The successful candidate will ideally have experience with EDI invoicing and be comfortable using excel to V look up level
This role is paying between £23 - £25,000 and is based just outside of Luton.
The role offers hybrid working with 3 days from home and 2 in the office.
