Finance Assistant
Market leading insurance company based in Manchester City Centre are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team. The role will be focused around credit control and account receivable duties.
Salary: up to £30,000
Contract: 6 month fixed term (must be immediately available to start)
Location: Manchester City Centre (3 days in the office)
Key responsibilities for the Finance Assistant:
- Bank posting & reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Paypal postings & reconciliations
- Assisting with Finance transactions
- Reconciliation of accounting system
- Assisting with the monthly billing process
- Liaising with sales and customer care on customer queries and signing off of deals
- Allocating AR invoices to cash entries
- Preparation of month end reconciliations
- Query resolution and escalations
- Other Adhoc tasks including cover for other areas of Finance e.g. AP & bookings
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience using Sage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Confident, outgoing and a self-starter
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
