Finance assistant
Walters people Milton Keynes are very excited to be partnering with an ever growing business on an exclusive basis to assist them in their search for a Finance Assistant. This role has materialised due to an increasing workload in a very successful finance team, will be undertaking the duty of providing financial support across different sectors of the business
Key duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Assist the assistant management accountant by providing accurate updates on creditor spend for the weekly cash flow, highlighting any risks, concerns or variances
- Review creditors ledger on a weekly basis
- Manage the creditors ledger including payments
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to senior management.
- Assist with month end creditor reconciliations
- Review and keep on top of open POs.
- Manage company credit card and expenses process in line with company policy
- Month end accruals and prepayments
- Assist the wider Finance Team with the audit process and year end
- Where required assist with bank payment/direct debit postings
The Perfect candidate will have the ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail while being able to communicate to all levels of the business building strong relationships internally and externally.
