Finance Administrator
Successful international blue chip organisation are seeking an ambitious Finance Administrator to add to their finance function due to continued growth of the business. The role is suitable for an ambitious individual seeking their first role in finance or someone looking to add to their finance experience.
Salary: £21,000
Hybrid: 2 days in the office
Location: Spinninigfields
Key responsibilities of the Finance Administrator:

Assist Cashiering Team with electronic payments allocations

Take ownership of incoming cheques from the facilities & distribute them amongst team on a daily basis

Liaise with fee earners for authority to bank cheques
-
Make enquiries into file references for unidentified cheques
-
Maintain Remittance Advices Records
-
Ensure cheque deposits at regional branches daily;

Ensure cheques are delivered that are generated by Finance team to the relevant team

Ensure at all times that general administration duties are kept up to date are in line with the operational standards e.g. filing/ archiving etc

Deal with off-site storage of Department’s accounting records
Key skills/experience required as the Finance Administrator:

Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role

Possess good inter-personal skills, and excellent organisational and time management skills with experience of meeting targets and deadlines

Have a flexible approach to working hours

Is detail oriented with significant emphasis on quality of work
