Finance Assistant

Do you have previous Accounts Payable experience? Familiar working within a fast-paced high volume processing environment? With the ability to work across multiple currencies / companies at the same time? As a result of growth across the wider business and success in the last 12 months, we are currently partnering with a renowned pharmaceutical firm on the search for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is a full time, permanent role based in Soho, London.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position of Finance Assistant is responsible for processing the financial transactions. This includes; accounts payable, VAT, payroll, expenses along with supporting the wider finance team with month-end close.

Further responsibilities include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Daily coding and processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
• Process monthly staff expenses and corporate card transactions
• Prepare cash book payments (HMRC) and inter-company bank transfers for authorisation
• Process monthly payroll journals
• Ensuring all creditor accounts are reconciled and complete aged creditor reporting on a monthly basis
• Audit preparation
• Any ad hoc requests for analysis

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 years Accounts Payable experience. As you'll be joining a finance team of 12, ideally candidates will have worked within similar mid-sized teams and be used to processing high volumes of invoices. You will have the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, have good communication skills and a desire to be part of a team.
