Communications Executive
Job Title: Communications Executive Location: Gateshead (Fully Remote Working) Salary: £30,000-£49,000 Permanent
I am currently recruiting for 2 x Communications Executive roles to join a global professional services busines.
This position plays a critical role in building ongoing customer relationships by providing strategic, easy to understand, customer-focused and timely operational messaging while leading the day-to-day management of the UK-based team.
Key Responsibilities for the Communications Executive:
- Write, edit, execute, and send customer communications on strategy and on time, as well as communications internally to ensure internal teams are ready to support the external customer change and/or impact
- Proactively work with cross-functional/cross-organisational teams to effectively manage customer communication initiatives and objectives
- Execute communications effectively across all available communications channels
- Work in conjunction with our lines of businesses to develop a successful strategic operational communication calendar for customers
- Maintain success metrics by assigned audience type for monthly brand consistency in image and voice in all communication touch points
- Support and implement creative processes and solutions for better business outcomes and increase the Company's net promoter score
- Ability to manage processes and programs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience needed for the Communications Executive
- Two to five years job related work experience required in Marketing or similar competency, with at least 2 years in communications
- Excellent research, writing, and editorial skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex or technical information to the public
- Ability to quickly understand, and respond to their needs
- Experience with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong consideration given for digital email skills and payments industry experience
Skills and Abilities for the Communications Executive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proven communication planning, execution, and measurement
- Ability to influence and partner within
- Persistent and relationship-focused
- Experience in technical communication
- Ability to respond to assignments with little or no notice, manage shifting priorities and operate in ambiguity
- Must have the ability to handle conflicts and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
- Must be able to exercise sound judgement independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Some limited travel may be required
- Email marketing experience, preferably Marketo is preferred.
