Diversity and Inclusion Partner - Warwickshire Position: Diversity and Inclusion Partner Location: Warwickshire (Flexible with remote working) Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £60,000 + annual bonus Hours: Full time
Role Details – Diversity and Inclusion Partner
You will be responsible for the delivery of D&I initiatives in line with the company’s guiding principles, driving the D&I strategy, and communicating this with a range of stakeholders across the business. As the Diversity & Inclusion Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert, responsible for creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
Responsibilities of the Diversity and Inclusion Partner:
• Work with team members to design and implement a process to collate, analyse, and report on employee diversity data.
• Design, create, establish and embed a framework of voluntary employee network groups for D&I.
• Maintain and actively engage with external Diversity networks, acting as the company D&I representative, and keep abreast of relevant D&I legislation, external market trends and activity.
• Work with internal stakeholders, including L&D, Resourcing and Talent teams, to provide input and support, ensuring Recruitment and Talent processes are fit for purpose and are developed, delivered and success evaluated, in accordance with D&I plans and objectives.
• Create, own and manage the content of a dedicated space for employees and managers to access D&I information, policies and other resources, and ensure these are regularly reviewed, updated and align to agreed D&I objectives and plans.
• Provide input and support to Internal Communications to ensure that an annual communication plan is in place, to ensure the Corporate D&I narrative is promoted both internally and externally.
• Provide advice and guidance on the use of inclusive language in communications and associated materials across the business.
Skills required for the Diversity and Inclusion Partner:
• Knowledge and practical application of inclusive language
• Previous experience of working with D&I topics, activities or initiatives.
• Proven experience of creating and implementing plans that have made a difference and achieved objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex and emotive topics to a broad audience via a variety of communication mechanisms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
