European Billings Specialist

Walters People: European Billings Specialist – At Least 2 Languages including English – £40,000 to £50,000 – Full Time 37.5 – Coventry – Travel Involved – Permanent Robert Walters is recruiting for multiple European Billings Specialists within a leading business based in Coventry. Candidates must have at least 2 European language including English. This position is highly remote with the opportunity for travel.

Role: European Billings Specialist

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Mode: Remote

Main duties and key responsibilities as the European Billings Specialist:

• Handle complex and customer specific cases (key accounts), escalations and exceptions

• Support and join commercial teams in negotiations with key customers

• Identify, address and provide support for customer specific issues and exceptions proactive and reactive (e.g. extended terms)

• Connect with other business partners when specific expertise is required that is not available in the region

• Support customer contracts review and credit checks

• Maintain key account list

• Provide support and input for commercial strategy

• Develop plans and actions with the business to execute commercial strategy -

• Drive and grow business value in the market by setting financial and strategic targets (on local level, in line with regional targets) -root cause analysis and making sure that disputes do not occur

• Perform analysis on business performance: sales, pricing, margin, credit management and costs to give recommendations to the pricing team

• Represent the business in the customer on-boarding process

About you as the European Billings Specialist:

• Fluent in two European languages one of which must be English

• Customer service focused

• Experience of project management

• Good communication skills – written and verbal

• Understanding of the invoicing process

• Willing to travel – both domestically and internationally as required
