Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representative Contract: Perm (HYBRID) Salary: up to £22k Hours: Full Time (Mon-Fri) Location: Stretford You will deal with the day-to-day customer service enquiries/demands logged by my clients customer database & also all telephone calls that come into our team for all current live contracts. The operations team look after all live contracts. As an Operations Controller you will deal with many different scenarios & tasks for our customers. The tasks vary each day based on customer demand and this keeps the role exciting & fresh with hunger to do more.
Responsibilities:
- Contact suppliers via email or telephone to obtain for deliveries & collection for customers
- Log in to the system and answer inbound calls
- Arrange collection when customers have finished using it
- Deal with aborted deliveries/collections where customers have decided to either not accept the delivery
- Obtain copies of proof of delivery/collection notes for customers
- Keep all parties updated by email or telephone when dealing with tasks that may longer to resolve.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure the process is as smooth as possible for the customer.
- Identify who caused the credit, if this was an internal error feedback to the relevant Manager.
Key Experience & Attributes Required:
- Good Microsoft Office skills-Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent telephone skills/manner to deal with customers & Third Party Suppliers
- Be able to work in faced paced role & multitask
- Able to use different systems at any one time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Team player but needs to be able to work independently.
- Excellent timekeeping, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to follow Process and procedures
- Good attention to detail
- A Logical approach to problem solving and decision making
