Role Details – Company Secretary
We are currently looking for a Company Secretary to join a growing team in Central Birmingham on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Corporate and Co Sec Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Registers on the company’s software, organising a variety of documents, and liaising with clients.
Responsibilities of the Company Secretary
• Maintain Registers on designated software PTP Share Register
• Incorporate Companies when required
• Appoint Directors / Company Secretary
• File Confirmation Statements
• Change Registered office when required
• Ensure Company Year-End Accounts have been filed
• Complete Notice of Assignment / Transfers / Charge / Deed of Covenants / Certificates of Consent for Land Registry
• Produce Share / Membership Certificates
• Complete an assignment on bespoke software Qube
• Communicate with Property Managers
• Telephone communication from Solicitors / Clients and Property Managers
• Demonstrate compliance with all procedures
• Oversee and maintain income levels on the portfolio
• Participate in departmental strategy and service standard delivery
• Seek to enhance client relationships
Skills required for the Company Secretary
• Good communication skills
• Well organised
• Be able to work unsupervised competently
No experience is required for this role.
